What Is Ergonomics?

The Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) states “Ergonomics is the science of fitting jobs to the people who work in them. The goal of an ergonomics program is to reduce work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) developed by workers when a major part of their jobs involve reaching, bending over, lifting heavy objects, using continuous force, working with vibrating equipment and doing repetitive motions.”

Pioneer Ergonomics specifically focuses on using ergonomic interventions to bring the body into alignment. We optimize management of employee injuries to facilitate expedient recovery, high morale, and return to work. Our consulting services help to develop and implement effective Injury Prevention Programs. Strategies for successful Ergonomic Programs are:
· Early Reporting
· Immediate Interventions
· Practical Solutions
We follow OSHA and ADA guidelines to help decrease the risk of injury to workers.
